A truly special heirloom hollyhock from the classic Chater’s Double Series, prized for its unusual soft chamois, peach-apricot flowers. The large, densely double blooms have a beautifully ruffled, almost pompon-like appearance and rise along tall, elegant flower spikes
Tips to grow:
Hollyhock is a biennial plant. It forms a leafy rosette in the first year and blooms the following year. Light is required for germination; cover seeds very lightly with vermiculite. Sow in a mini greenhouse with a transparent lid and keep the soil evenly moist. Transplanting is recommended. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Tall plants may need support. Good air circulation helps prevent rust.
