The most exquisite, the most popular and complex of all the flowers we have grown on the farm. Their beauty takes your breath away. Sometimes, it is impossible to believe that we grow such beautiful flowers! Seeds belong to Italian selection, plants are tall and robust, up to 50 cm in height. Closed bud is approximately of the size of a plum.

Tips to Grow:

Can be directly seeded or transplanted. Plant 2-3 seeds in each cell, thin when first true leaves appear. Cover lightly with vermiculite. Avoid disturbing roots, poppies cannot tolerate it. Sow seeds in individual cells. Deadheading is essential to extend blooming. Pinching plants is not necessary nor beneficial. Iceland poppies perform best in cooler conditions – below 21°C. Bloom production and quality declines as temperatures rise.
